The same thing that it does to any attacker that is a glass cannon. It kills them. There are other ways around this. You could try using a tank to divert some of the damage. You could use a toon to get offense down on toons that are likely to one shot. Could put thrawn in your team and fracture high dmg toons. There are ways in other words. It is less broken then allowing some toons to have constant foresight and never able to take dmg or be killed which seems to be what you're suggesting.
Never suggested constant foresight...I only suggested that the mechanic actually work. Unavoidable attacks doesnt seem broken to you? That also makes it all the more easier for the AI on defense...has the luxury not to worry if an attack lands or not lol
The point is that there are some toons that have foresight a lot and spread it. Gmy has foresight a lot with both zetas. He can also spread it to the whole team. Put in with some other toons that gain foresight easily, and you essentially have a team that can't be damaged. So there's a counter to that. It's irresistible attacks. And it is limited to only a few toons so foresight still has its uses and the toons that beat foresight can be beaten with other toons that can't beat a foresight team very easily. So in a way it creates a bit of a rock paper scissors situation. The problem is your trying to beat rock with scissors and complaining that it doesn't work. Instead you could just use paper.
Numerous counters to foresight existed long before irresistible attacks became a super trend. Typically 4 out of 5 toons of the current meta have "This attack can't be evaded".... you've basically just made one mechanic obsolete with a new one, nothing more. you didnt get anywhere
They needed to counter the RJT foresight spam meta somehow...
That's a whole other discussion in itself lol...as someone mentioned earlier, poor ability kit planning by devs. They put themselves in that situation and the only way to say they "fixed" it is by irresistible attacks

It is hard explaining stuff to people who have no interest in listening, but you get an A for effort
you're giving an A for effort to someone who thought Yoda is classed as an Attacker and is talking about Rock-Paper-Scissor?... bravo :D
What role Yoda is classed as is rather besides the point in an argument about wether or not foresight is broken, is it not? The rock-paper-scissor comparison was spot on, for every ability or buff there tend to be a something that counters it and some teams are good against certain opponents but will lose against others. Personaly I think the game is better for it, but even if you disagree that is how the developers wants it to, hence WAI. - Foresight improved survivability of fragile characters, and Unavoidable attack provided a method of bypassing Foresight. Unavoidable attack could both deal damage and remove Foresight with a single attack, but it can no longer remove Foresight.
EA fixed the Foresight and Unavoidable attack issue already.
But different Foresight and Unavoidable attack relation is not unworthy of consideration, IMO. Some possible candidate:
1. Unavoidable attack on Foresight deal 50% less damage and remove Foresight.
2. Foresight cancels out Unavoidable attack, making it evadable at normal evasion chance, and then expires. "Stokat;c-1588415" wrote:

Rex lead, Zaul lead, Kenobi, etc. made high crit teams like jroids and Landawiggs "obsolete" too. But then guess what? Two metas later, we have JTR which relies on crits to get tm. The foresight mechanic hasn't perished. You just need to put it where appropriate. Seems like that team could be great in TB, or use them in TW against a team without unavoidable attacks or passive damage to Jedi. "crzydroid;c-1588536" wrote:

You all seem so content with unavoidable attacks lol....I wonder why. Must've not known how to fight against Foresight in the past.- It seems the issue you have with new abilties is with the power creep that it invariably leads to. Not a lot they can do about that. To get people excited about new characters (enough for some to soend money on them) they have to make them better than previously released characters. If not their business model doesn't work, they go broke and the game ends. They can and do mitigate this some by doing reworks of underpowered characters from time to time . I get that you like yoda and woukd love for him to be arena worthy but the rework wasn't designed for that. And my bad for not having every characters tags memorized. Both attackers and supports can be fairly easy to kill so the main point still stands. Yoda is not a tank. If you have problems with him dying, then use a tank to taunt and absorb some damage. There are tanks that can survive a few hits from traya assuming you don't get really shitty rng or are really outclassed (mods and gear). But your main problem is you are trying to rely on foresight against a team that has explicit counters to it. I already explained that with a anology but you didn't seem to like it. The game is working as intended and they aren't going to nerf the unavoidable attacks. It just isn't going to happen. So you have three choices, build a team that can win by the rules of the game, quit, or keep whinning that it is unfair because the team you like loses to a team specifically designed to counter most of its strengths. The last option is the one you're doing and it is pretty stupid.
