How many times does Boba revive?

Just had an arena fight where Boba revived 3 times. I've seen him revive more than once early on this year on multiple occasions. And then possibly for a few months since then I've not seen him revive more than once and I thought his multiple revives were patched out or something, until today. What calculates his chance at revival and what percentage is it at? Just being curious.
  • every time he has his buff he can revive. After he dies once, he gets the buff again when he kills someone. The percentage is 100%.
  • there is no max, he will revive as long as he kills an enemy after he died.
"At the start of battle, and whenever he defeats an enemy, Boba Fett recovers 100% Protection and gains Bounty Hunter's Resolve until he is defeated. Bounty Hunter's Resolve: Boba Fett ignores Taunts during his turn. When defeated, revive at 100% Health. This buff cannot be dispelled."
  • 100% chance if he dies while he has the revive buff (the one with the padlock icon that can only be dispelled by killing him) and if he doesn't get killed by an ability that prevents revives (executed by Darth Nihilus, Death Trooper, or another Boba Fett).

If Fett scores a killing blow after he revives, he regains the revive buff.

The trick to defeating him is to prevent him from scoring a killing blow after he revives. Meaning that if any of your characters are vulnerable, don't kill Fett if he's going to revive. Wait until you're confident that he won't be able to kill anyone after he revives. It depends a lot on predicting the flow of the battle -- but once you learn how to beat Fett, and practice doing it, it'll become second nature soon enough.
  • Ah I see. Thanks for the replies. I normally kill him on the get go if there's no pre-taunt tank. This particular fight I went after Rex first and EP 2nd, big mistake I guess.
  • Yeah, when you fight against Fett, the gamble is always a decision about whether he or somebody else is the most dangerous member of his team.

If you leave Fett alive too long you can end up in a situation where your best damagers are nearly dead, and even if you manage to kill him he'll just keep popping up again because he regains the buff by sniping your most vulnerable guys and eliminating part of your damage output every time he does it.

If you don't use a character who can execute him, then the second best option is probably any character whose basic attack has a high chance to stun.

Yep. Today I targeted DN over him in arena, and he killed Chirrut. Nearly lost.

He killed my Chirrut and my fight quickly went downhill from there. Especially with a G10 Kylo in the opponent's team with his emo lash out, AEing everyone on my team for Boba to wipe out. I'm mostly only G9. Sometimes AI Boba's dumb and he tries to execute Baze at full hp instead of Chirrut.
  • Edited as I noticed he mentioned having Chirrut in previous post (I was suggesting getting a cleanser like Rex).
