Eventually you will have to farm phoenix for thrawn and lstb.
If I was level 70 with no phoenix I would be more likely to farm a team based around wedge biggs leia and another coupel of rebels and come back to phoenix later.
That said it depends on what you have in your roster.- As a huge phoenix hater I say yes they are good. In tw you can't beat them with trash, you have to throw a solid squad at them. And all that being said Ezra has a top notch kit and Thrawn is a top 5 toon. Fracture being the best ability in the game i.l. farm them gear them and get thrawn

I disagree. Thrawn is essential to so many game modes, it is worth farming phoenix at 70 to unlock him asap. Additionally, phoenix is required in TB.
That said, if arena progress is what you need *right now* then Wiggs will help you more than Phoenix.- They are fun to use if zetad. I'm just sayin'.
- YKMisfit8 years agoSeasoned AceI had a second account that was going off the rails, and I didn't have Phoenix either and I was also around level 70 at the time.
I switched focus to them about 3 weeks ago, and they're already nearly done. It's made a big difference already and I should now be able to get Palpatine (it's gonna be close for 7*) and Thrawn the next time it comes around. I personally don't care much for their ships, but I'm using them anyway.
I did drop a fair bit in the arena, but that had a lot to do with not being as active. There were a lot of days where I was only doing the 2 battles for the achievement.
I would say you're not too far along to start farming them. You'll probably need a new arena team by the time they're done, but you'll have them in your back pocket for when Thrawn comes around and you'll be able to use them in TB, LS, GW, and ships if you decide to get those. - Yes. Get Chopper first over Sabine. But get Sabine eventually and then put Ezra in another rebel squad.
Phoenix makes many rebel events easy and you need them for TB and GAT, who is one of the best Characters in the game and has THE best ship in the game. Do it. - Imo phoenix should always be farmed first or in your case as soon as possible. They just have waaaay to many perks to be put off, especially by newer players. One of the biggest perks is the ability to finish GW DAILY, not only can they finish it daily but they do so from the moment you unlock all 5 regardless of stars. I was clearing GW from level 40 on and that 1200 GW currency is HUGE! Then there's Thrawn and his ship plus EP without having to farm another squad and pilots for 2 additional ships that helps get you closer to Zetas. Check out the latest f2p guide updated yesterday, it's spot on.
https://youtu.be/a2_J_BwXSOY - Yes, Phoenix is good. Great versatility, helps you with many special events. Great synergy. Strong team. If I were a new player, I would get them straight away. Boring to play though, so I have not put tons of gear on them.
#teamsabine - Phoenix is very good, in nearly every aspect of the game except - Arena. Not so good there.
And of course, you need them to get Thrawn. And Thrawn be the Don Corleone of this game ;)
I'm a Sabine man myself - I like her extra offence. Others prefer Chopper with his extra defence.
I put off farming them for a while coz I'm Old School and didn't much know who they were. But I'm glad I did- they make for some interesting and challenging tactical battles rather than all out offence or defence. Good fun. - Only for thrawn. Imo
