The characters change a bit, as you continue to level, and gain access to others. So it is hard to say which ones you "should" be aiming for now to use, and which ones to prep yourself for.
A solid few players you should look at.

Biggs from GW currency
Wedge from 6-F ( which will be a while still for you )
