hey guys is there a reason why r2s zeta doesn't apply to droids?

We all could just speculate, but I guess it's all about borders. His abilities have to end somewhere. You can't say all Light Side Chars + Droids. If you want du add Droids, you have to switch from "light side" to "every faction R2 is included". I think that was just too much. They decided for light side and not for factions and it seems we have to accept that.
