Hi all, looking for some help- again!Picking up some nice new characters over the last couple of weeks. Problem is knowing who to farm when you're f2p is so hard. So I'd really appreciate some wise advice from you kind people. Now obviously I understand the concept of synergies...and also that who to farm depends very much on your goals and plans in the game, so - some reference to these would be super-useful. Thanks so much, list is as follows - should I bother or not? Either way, what did you base your decision on? Phoenix squad is very good when you're f2p because you can do territory battles get thrawn and with kanan Ezra you can get both palpatine and yoda(kanan Ezra both Jedi and rebel) so win-win You can farm kylo for arena gw dark Side battles and kinda end game heroic aat Rey is pretty good if you are planning on using resistance but as by herself not so goodChirrut without baze is kinda pointless so if you are planning to get baze go for him if not leave itMaul and oppress was very good once now not so good but you can farm maul for his ship and for zeta challengesLeia is very good at haat with clones you can use her at TB too Hope this helps good luck :smile:

Thanks so much for your effort, wisdom and kindness!Yeah- had Phoenix for a while and never done anything with them but reading more and more how useful they are...particualrly in regards getting some big names...and fun as well.Kylo sounds worth a farm...plus he's cool ;)Rey seems a like a fun attacker...but I don't have any other Resistance and not planning to really so...might not bother.Yep- no Baze so will ignore Chirrut I think.Might farm Maul for his ship then.Leia sounds like she's worth farming then.Thanks a lot :)

Vet han and vet chewie look awesome. Imagining them under boba lead with offense up and crit damage mode could mean a lot of damage. I think in one of the developer videos, they were each hitting for over 40k and that's probably without decent mods and no boba lead.Too bad they aren't farmable yet and probably won't be until November.With your mainly rebel team though I would probably still go chirrut. You can switch him out for boba and you'd be surprised at how well he manages even without baze. He's constantly healing rebels, he has an amazing cleanse, and he can hit for 20-30k crits at G11. Plus he's not that bad of a farm from fleet store.

IMO your absolute first priority should be getting max payouts for Credit Heist. Looking at your roster, you've got the core 3 (especially Lando), so I'm guessing you can carry 2 more dead weight and succeed. But if not, that should be top of the list.After that, agree with Phoenix as a worthwhile farm for a number of reasons, and very approachable for f2p. Skip Sabine, and work on the others. Ezra and Kanan can also cross over to be used for your Jedi squad for Yoda.Equally with Phoenix, I would work on your ships. Whatever you need to focus on to unlock the max tier challenges (especially the ship ability materials) should be VERY high on your priority list, because that will bring you extra Omega mats, and most importantly, zeta mats.If you've still got farming capacity left over after that, I'd pick a couple from: Leia, Empire needed to get R2, Old Ben, & Farm Boy Luke. Then start working on them. Therein lies the path to CLS, and greatness. Even if the meta changes before you get there, they are all still great characters (well, Farm Boy not so much) that you can use elsewhere or in your arena team.

To Farm or Not to Farm...that is the question...

Currently focusing on Phoenix for Thrawn.

Old School Rebels for CLS - although that's a fair way down the road.

Resistance - even further down the road.

Arena:
Wedge (L), Biggs, Boba, Ezra, St Han

Focus on them as the main strategy. G11 is a good goal for biggs and wedge. That arena team took me to top 50 and even top 20. It depends on how old your shard is of course.

If and when you get GK, sub him in for st han.
St han is fine at g10.

Rex is good, but you need chaze or gk and dn.

People can unlock thrawn with g8 or g9 phoenix. The event is coming up, so keep pushing phoenix until then.

When you have thrawn, you can take out boba.
He's great, but thrawn would be better with that.

After you get thrawn, you will have to balance arena, empire and old rebels. But crystals help everything, so dont neglect arena. Remember that you need empire for r2, and you need r2 and old rebels for CLS. And g9 minimum is a pretty safe bet for most events, thrawn being the hardest

I admit - I have been neglecting Arena. Current team is Wedge, Biggs, Boba, STHan, Lando. Interesting idea to put Ezra in rather than Lando. I will try this, thanks.

Yes- I'm aware Thrawn is coming. I didn't get him last time, I may or may not get him this time, will definitely get him next time. But currently - all efforts are on farming Phoenix. Because they have others uses too.

And yes, once I get him I can then focus on Old School Rebels - I have everyone in place now - Leia, STHan, R2, Luke and Ben. So it's just a case of farming them up...after I've got Thrawn.

Also remember that Thrawn is amazing even at 5 or 6*

Just get him to a high gear level to survive some hits, make him fast, and fracture their tank while your dps knocks out their biggest threats

DS TB coming so people will be farming DS soon. Maybe we will get a flood of new toons as well.
