Who should I give this mod to?

It is an arrow with a 23.5% protection primary, 24 speed secondary (5 rolls), 1 roll on % offense and flat protection and offense

it is also a speed set. And a five star gold mod
I was thinking Baylan but I have a speed arrow with ~12.5%protection secondary

I think the primary stat advice you’re giving depends on where someone is with their roster wide modding. If the secondary speed is high enough, a different primary can be much more effective for how a character performs overall than a tiny bit extra speed.

Fair enough, I respect your opinion.  Of course on anything other than a Speed set, I don't have a problem.  However, on a Speed set......... I get this tangy irony taste on the back of my tongue.  It's not a bad taste as such .......just strange and shouldn't be there.  It gives me a face twitch thinking about it.

I'm so credit poor!!  Giz uz sum?  I'll pay you back on pay day, promise!

I can see these mods being very useful.  However, as you say they're a luxury.  I just don't think most players should have that sort credit luxury.  I don't think I'd blink twice about selling a Speed arrow with a protection primary, but that's through....'conditioning'.  I'll be honest and have absolutely no idea if it'd actually be better on Shandy or Baylan.  I'd guess there's no definitive answer either.

Anyway OP, it's turned out to be a pretty nice mod, especially with the offence/protection secondaries.  My advice is it'll go well on Stella.

I have around 10 speed set arrows with non-speed primaries equipped, including one on Baylan with +28 speed and protection primary. I’ve got 4 more with +25 or more speed and another 5 between +20 and +24.

These are luxury mod choices for sure, but if credits aren’t an issue I don’t think there’s any harm in seeing what happens when a speed set arrow with a different primary gets taken to Lv12.

Ok thanks that helps! Also I didn’t slice the mod at all I just upgraded it from level 1 to 15

  • Hmmmm, not wishing to be a glum guinea pig, but should you put so much of your resources into a Speed arrow that doesn't have speed as the primary?

Saying that, In the back of my mind, I think I've come across such a build, that recommended protection primary arrow on a speed set.  Maybe.... it was the new Conquest unit Stella Shandy.

Anyway, a protection primary on a speed set seems a very niche thing.  It's not something I'd recommend.
