Hi,I am in a January 2016 shard, and I'm tired of the 40+ CLS lead squads in the top 50 of my arena. While I wait for the Bounty Hunters to be finally given the love they deserve, I'd like to use a zJyn lead. I only looked at her kit a few days ago, and man was I surprised. It's awesome! Revive, advantage buff (hi there, R2 zeta), stun, TM steal, immune to stun...I really want to make something out of her lead, especially the 5% protection recovery for each buff gained. The expose on debuff is a nice bonus, but with the double/triple cleanse teams out there, it will be hard to use.Right now, it seems hard to play rebels without CLS and R2, so my base team composition would be (l)zJyn, CLS, zzR2. I need advice for the last two spots. I have most of the farmable toons at 7* or near 7* stars except Baze, whom I don't plan to level, and Thrawn/ATF/DN.I thought about the following duos: --- GK + zLeiaGK, he's obviously one of the best tanks in the game and can debuff/provide lots of buffs. Sadly he isn't rebel so he won't benefit the 5%protec gain and can't be revived which could be great for a tank. zLeia, she hits quite hard and can provide up to 3 buffs/turn.However, I'm afraid this comp will be quite squishy.--- zK2 + Chirrut.K2 is a rebel and his zeta really shines with a zJyn lead, his daze works well vs a CLS lead and his attack down can also help proc a few exposes. Chirrut can heal, debuff, and provide lots of buffs.The problem with this composition is the damage output. Are CLS and chirrut damage enough?So guys, I need you! Do you think these comps would work? If not, any idea on how to improve them? Thanks! (And sorry for my english, French over here :) )

Come on guys, I've been reading these forums for to long to know that some of you must have an opinion about this team composition! :smiley: Furthermore, do you think that ATF could replace any of these toons?

Best bet would of course be chaze but you said you dont want to level Baze. Personally, I could see Raid Han or another damage dealer with Kanan. His kit is actually really good when put under the right lead. He applies offense down on counters, cleanses, prot up. Thinking about it, probably better under CLS, but still an interesting proposal.

I was considering giving her the zeta however Chaze is fallen out of the meta, Chirrut isn't so great at 12. For arena zJyn, CLS (with binds zeta ideally), zzr2... You can try chaze but you aren't doing the dps you need really against the meta. Better is Zolo and zATF or Princess (no zeta needed). Jyn gives that extra protection heal and expose opportunity and can revive. All that said AI will play her aoe against CLS lead and that will cause this team to drop like a rock defensively. Even if you include zcass and zk2 it if still getting smacked around right now. I have Cholo at 7 and was thinking his zeta is somewhat interesting... Healing, dazing and reviving he can revive Jyn who always ends up dying. That is an interesting composition possibly.

I have a zJyn and I have not found her to be able to get to the top anymore. I would love to make it work, because she was a big investment, but have yet to find the secret comp. There just isn't much of a way to replace Chirrit and Baze, but at the same time, not much of a way to replace Cassian and K2 either... which leaves the team kinda low in terms of burst dps needed to get through tanks and at the other team's high dps toons.I have a zeta Han Solo now, so maybe I can try something with Han and Fulcrum, but every time I try to take out either of those 2 duos, they get wrecked.

Problem is cls has a better lead without zeta and thrawn is better then jyn without zeta.

So i've got my immune to stun zeta on Jyn and got my Zeb to gear 12, such a big improvement.

I auto'd a battle and apparently R2 was throwing smokescreen on himself over Old Ben and Zeb on defense so I geared up Zeb and now he throws smokescreen on him appropriately and I stay in the top 50 in defense.

On offense, today is my first 5 tries with Jyn's zeta and Zeb and they come in clutch, I was able to break into the top 20 easily, I lost a couple matches but I could've beat those teams if it wasn't for one moment of bad RNG on both cases.

Overall I'm happy with this team and am sure I can frequent the top 20 easily, maybe break top 10 when Old Ben goes to Gear 11 and 12.

I run zJyn (g11, 235 speed), CLS (g12, 250 speed), R2 (g12, Crunch Zeta, 219 speed), Baze (g11, 139 speed), and Chirrut (g11, 201 speed) and consistently top 50, somtimes top 30. November 2016 shard

Does you DPS come from Cassian's hits or from the multiple exposes?
I really like your team composition but, on the paper, it doesn't seem to have a big DPS output.

I ran Jyn (lead), cassian, K2, chirrut and baze for about 4/5 months in arena and slowly zeta'd them in this order:

Jyn lead
Cassian
K2
Jyn unique

I was able to get 1st every day in arena (once they got to G11) except if a GK/ Barris team was still in 1st but with all the CLS coming in it was dropping to far on defence as yes, the DPS comes from Cassian racking up the exposes and K2 taking all the damage - although CLS started putting buff immunity on him so became worthless.

Now I run CLS, Jyn, R2, Chirrut and Baze which I think is a shame as I preferred running the R1 team, the AI just didn't seem to work the expose as well as it could have.

Jyn's unique is actually very useful now as she is immune to CLS', Han's and R2's stun so you don't have to worry about the counters so much. Is fun when Han's shoots first goes for Jyn.

I guess that one of the keys here is R2. To be viable now, K2 has to be with a zetaed R2 so he gets a debuffs as soon as he crits and can potentially still get his taunt. R2 is also needed so he can smokescreen before Jyn uses her AOE and gets detroyed by the mass retaliation under a CLS lead.
The main issue with a zJyn lead team is to find a place for a good DPS who will be your main and only source of damage.

Ok so scratch what I said a few weeks back, Raid Hand under Zyn boosted me to top 20 overnight and I don't fall below 50.

Currently using zZyn, zCassian, zOldBen, zzR2, and non zeta gear 10 raid Han...Can't wait to get that gear and zeta for Raid Han.

Agreed.

I use zJyn, zCLS, zRaid Han, Old Ben and Cassian. With only 3 zetas and Cassian G8 I roll through every meta team I meet in GW. I put CLS over R2 because of its special attack which is always usefull to dispell or remove TM.
I don't play this team yet in arena because of Cassian's low gear but I haven't had this fun playing a team for a long time!

I run zJyn, K2, zCassian, zzR2, Chirrut all gr11 and stay top 40-20 I have Jyn at 252 speed and R2 233 and Chirrut 230

I think people underestimate K2 personally especially with R2 cleanse zeta
Without baze it is annoying not having a dispeller but K2's daze and offense down and Cassian double tap is great
