Account Issues
Hello everyone. My name is Elijah and my account was recently "hacked" by someone. This happened yesterday evening, when I opned swgoh on the ea app and was greeted with "have you played on mobile?". Naturally I assumed maybe it logged me out because of the update. However after not being able to log in, I tried using the gmail connected to my account. It was deleted, wiped basically. Thankfully I have now recovered it from my phone number. However I still couldn't log in. If I tried using the "ea connect" feature on another device and selected the ea account that was linked to the account, I'd be hit with an error 9 message. My friend was able to log in though, as he has an android and used the google play account linked to the account. Sadly though when he tried to disconnect/unlink the new ea account from my account he was hit with a "your account cannot be unlinked". We have NO idea how this has happened. Luckily today, I downloaded blue stacks and used the google play account to log back into my account. Now I still have access to my account. The only problem is when I clicked unlink account I was hit with the same message. After further investigation, we've came to the conclusion that I was not hacked, or atleast my swgoh account wasn't. It was changed to the name "Anreath Erith" which after looking up we found out this is a default name. Good news is that not only was this supposedly not a hacker, but me and my friend now have access to it. The Bad news is that I cant unlink the ea account from the swgoh account, meaning im stuck on playing blue stacks forever. if I try the same on mobile, I'm also hit with error 9. Is anyone able to help me out here? Maybe an Official can manually unlink the ea account or something else so that way I can play on the ea app instead of blue stacks?
