I bought this gift card to buy the new LSB, only to find out that Amex has issues. I was able to make a purchase with it on Steam, but for some reason, on the webstore, it says, "Please verify your information and try again, or try another payment method." even though it's 100% correct, it has a balance, and works on something like steam.
Found a weird workaround. In conclusion, do not buy AMEX gift cards lol.

Step 0: Never buy one again lol
Step 1: So, the workaround I figured out is for iPhone.
Step 2: Add the Amex gift card to your Apple wallet
Step 3: Download the Target app on your Iphone
Step 4: Add the gift card you want to your cart for the amount on your Amex gift card. I grabbed an Apple Gift card to make it easier
Step 5: Proceed to checkout and when you are paying select apple wallet and select the Amex gift card
For some reason, this is the only way it works. If you just try to buy it on the Target website, it declines; YOU MUST ADD IT TO YOUR APPLE WALLET in order for the purchase to work!
