Bistan U-wing Multiple Damage Bugs

What type of issue do you have? Gameplay
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Summarize your bug Bistan's U Wing is not properly doing damage in multiple ways. First, I suspect his basic ability is not ignoring defense. This is because he routinely does more damage against low defense enemies, and does more damage with defense penetration up. Regardless, Using swgoh.gg to calculate damages, my Bistan (3 total G12 pieces away from max) should be doing 26k damage on his basic on a non critical hit, 44k damage on his turn during a critical hit, and 70k damage while assisting on a critical hit under Ackbar lead. Since he ignores defense while in stealth, these damage numbers should be consistent no matter the opponent, within the damage variance range. I've attached 3 photos from the same battle that show something is off. We have a 26k non crit during his turn, a 32k crit during an assist (that's the bugged one), and a 71k crit during an assist. Something is wrong on that 32k crit unless I am missing something.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Just play and look at his damage numbers.

    Well, the mechanics say additive, so the fact that it's 0 shouldn't matter.

    It looks like it's modifying "armor penetration percent" just like Sidious does (although Sidious is only 100%), whereas Defense Penetration Up modifies the flat values. But again, since it's additive, that should go on top of the 0.

  • But it’s still adding a percent. It doesn’t matter if it’s multiplying or adding when it’s value is 0. Defense penetration adds a flat number, so that’s why you see an increase. And it’s probbaly why you get full armor penetration even though I think many ships have more than 150 armor. Once you get any defense penetration at all the % bonus multiplies it to some extreme number.

    Think of it like an empty glass. A glass can have any range of beer in it from 0% to 100%. If you add 50% beer to the glass, it will be half full. If you add 9999990% beer to the glass, it will be full, and there will be a ton of wasted beer all over the counter, but the glass will still be full.

    It's not multiplying the current 0% DefPen x 9999990%, it's adding it.

    They said they were looking into some issues with how Bistan's basic works on the backend...so let's let the game team figure it out.

    I think the question here is, what does the stat, "Armor Penetration Percent Additive" do? The (additive) nature of the effect is clearly adding 999900% to THIS stat, not taking whatever 999900% of that stat's value and adding it back on.

    Since this is a different stat than simply "Armor Penetration," we'd have to see how the code works. If "armor penetration percent additive" is itself a multiplicative effect of armor penetration added back on, then the fact that armor penetration is 0 matters. If it is a stat that directly negates the percentage-based value of the opponent's damage mitigation, then the fact that armor penetration is 0 wouldn't matter, since the 999900% modification is an additive one.
