It’s been a long long time since I upgraded a capital ship, but I’m pretty sure the ship credit cost is doubled for them. Taking a normal ship from 5 stars to 6 stars costs 500k ship currency, but I’m pretty sure it’s 1M ship currency to do the same for a capital ship.
