I've been playing GA/GAC since the start and I don't believe I've ever faced a hacker. I don't think I've ever seen a hacker in my Arena or Ship Arena either. I very much doubt you've faced many, if any.

Weeks? You need years? Changes are generally gradual, unless you put in a lot of effort. Since the last 5v5 I've added LV, Gungans with omicron, Jocasta Nu with omicrons and Baylan with omicrons and............disappointingly I'm down on where I was.

You're actually allowed to spend money on the game. For somebody to be able to quadruple your GP when you've been playing for 4 years more than they...........says as much about you as them. You clearly haven't been super dedicated.

The whole post feels hyperbole. However, either A. You're doing very well. B. You're facing people that don't care (and wouldn't be hacking). So, the facts aren't adding up.

Seems a bit drastic (for all the time you've put in). My hunch, reading between the lines is that you're not being very efficient. And that watching some guides, teams to build, ways to win will help greatly.
I was very casual when GA first started. I didn't understand much at all, I found it very frustrating. Then I got kicked from my guild and something changed. I started caring and watching things on youtube. I could see the changes I was making, making a difference. I went from a 3/9 player to a 10/2 player. I felt very proud of the turnaround. I feel that GAC is immensely rewarding (on the whole) if you implement changes that have an effect. I.e. don't give up, get better.
