Complete Tier 2 of Huyang Event not registering

Hi there, I've been having an issue with the complete tier 2 of huyang event. It wasn't registering each time I completed it, and now it is completely unattainable as the event has expired. Below is a screenshot of the incomplete status.

I've checked with the in-game help and they asked to post a question here. I assume this is something that is currently a work in progress, as many others have complained about the same issue. Is there a fix on the way?
