DSTB Special Mission not counting towards IG-88's Bounty Hunter Quest

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Summarize your bug I am working on the Bounty Hunter Quest step 3 of 7 for IG-88. The last part (Mortally Wound) says to Win 12 Battles with IG-88 in Territory Battles. I won a battle yesterday with him and it updated to 1/12. Today is the special mission that requires bounty hunters and I completed the mission with him again, and it did not count towards the quest and still says 1/12. Now, instead of finishing this quest in 2 Dark Side Territory Battles which is 2 months, I'm going to have to wait for a third one to roll around so it's going to take 3 months.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Do a dark side territory battle special mission with IG-88 and the third step of the bounty hunter quest active.

    • I succeed twice a TB mission geonosian but didn't count on the succeed TB I did with IG.
    • Had 6 battles before and still have 6 battles now after 2 wins. 
    • Is geo TB included in the count?

    I have the same issue, having just beaten a combat mission in the canyons territory, I am still waiting at 11/12 completed TB battles for IG88. IG88 and the rest of the entire squad survived the whole battle.

    The simple answer is go and play a Hoth dark side TB. Join another guild if you can't convince the rest of your guild to give up on GET2 currency (Geo TB) just so you can complete this quest. This bug is unfair to everyone it affects. This bug has been reported since the beginning of Geo TB and it has not yet been fixed nor has the text of the quest been updated to clearly reflect that it is only applicable to Hoth dark side TBs only.

    When will this be sorted anytime soon?

    I have spent a lot of time and money on my IG88 and now for nothing.

    Don't worry about the quest. According to the latest reports (the ones dated July 30, 2020)....

    no matter which territory battle you do, none of them count. Not Hoth and never Geo.

    I did not get any credit for six straight days for fighting battles with IG-88 in my roster.  This is in regards to the Bounty Hunter prestigious title quest, part 3 of 7 (Mortally Wound).  
     
    I had previously completed 6 of these battles and was at 6 out of 12 on July 30.  On July 31, our guild began the Hoth Dark Side Territory Battles.  I completed six battles over the next six days and did not receive credit in this quest for doing so.  At the end of the Territory Battles, I still have not received 12 out of 12 battles, therefore this time and progress has been wasted.
     
    My desired resolution for this issue is to have completed 12 out of 12 battles, therefore allowing me to progress to part 4 of 7 of the Bounty Hunter prestigious quest.  This would give me no tangible rewards, it would just allow me to continue with this quest.
     

    It's been more than 2 years, and this is STILL a problem.  I'm encountering this exact same issue in July of 2020.  I've been passed off on 7 different customer service reps, the last of whom basically told me that nothing will be done.

    I am extremely dissatisfied with this so called solution. This seems to be a very common issue and it feels like EA help has done nothing to remedy this whatsoever for several years and numerous complaints among numerous customers.  I am very disappointed with this entire process.   The reputation this game has regarding poor support is well-deserved.
