Error code when trying to recover an account

I just got a new IPhone and IPad but when I go to transfer the account I get an error code. I used to play on my wife’s IPad.

    When heroes encountered the error code: 9.78, logging out and back into the client and trying again in-game got rid of it. As you're on iOS, could you try logging out of the Game Center and back in before loading up the game again? That should help resolve that error message.

  • It did not. Can you please help me recover my account or at least restore progress onto the account I’ve played in the meantime… 2 weeks off in this game is massive. I’ve had in-depth discussion with in game chat that has not been able to resolve the issue and despite being told they could restore progress I have now just been passed around to a bunch of different people…

    Appreciate the tag! Helped pop this back on my radar.

    I'm not able to restore accounts as a Community Manager. The support team may be able to help, though.

    You mentioned you were already in touch with them. Were you able to pass on the Ally Code / Player ID of the account you're looking to restore to the support team? They need that to pull up the account you're looking to restore access to.

    i provided them with a screenshot of old and new play IDs and ally codes which included a screen shot showing it was matched with this EA ID. Unfortunately they continue to send me links to the same forums the previous 12 in game people sent me to.  They did not restore progress and I included screenshots showing that they help form didn’t not work… again.
