EA Staff (Retired)I'm sorry to hear the troubleshooting didn't fix the issue. We've attempted to reproduce using a OnePlus 6 (OxygenOS 9.0) device which is lower spec than OnePlus 6T but didn't encounter any issues.
In addition to that I've checked your account to see if I can find any errors relating to this and didn't find anything.
Do you have any other apps open when you play SWGoH? I'm thinking that maybe there is another app installed on your device which might be interfering with the game. Do you have any VPN or antivirus apps installed?

No antivirus, but often have apps like Gmail, Reddit, Twitter, Facebook etc running in the background. It shouldn't really matter though, since they're usually running as background tasks in Android anyway doing synchronizing etc as usual.
Given the randomness these freeze-ups happens, there's really not more info I can provide, besides that they usually happens between 20-30 seconds into battle, and often during/after the more graphic "intensive" animations (AoE attacks, multiple GUI/status updates and so on like Trayas saber storm, etc).
- CG_MindTricksYes, that's exactly what we tested as well. We used the same characters you showed in the screenshots and did a bunch of Squad and Fleet arena battles trying to use as many flashy AOE attacks as possible but didn't manage to reproduce ☹️
If you happen to notice anything else please let me know and we'll re-test.Will post more info and situations when they occur. Will also keep an eye on running apps. Can add that I'm using the 8GB version of OnePlus 6t, running the latest official release of OxygenOS on top of Android as shown on the attachment.

Well... I've turned of OnePlus game mode, just to see if that had something to do with it, but unfortunately no.
I just lost my GA when the game froze even before the battle started against a Nightsister team and never got a chance to use my best counter...This happens to me loads, a real pain when your fighting Revan matches that take almost the entire 5 minutes
This has happened to me too in both arenas. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it doesn't help.
It happens everyday and no one cares at EA...
I have this same problem on the 6T. They tell me the same thing. I can only assume the game isn't stable on the OnePlus phones. I've contacted EA several times. They used to send crystals and now they just send the same response over and over again. I usually get locked during arena. However, it's occasionally locked fleet arena, raids, or even at the start screen. I've played the game on my computer using blue stacks and it's never crashed.
- Yeah, I've come to the same conclusion. Got freezes in Raid Legends too, so something is definitively wrong. If it's the phone, the chipset or OxygenOS is hard to say.
- @chack71 Interesting, I'm on OP 3T and SWGOH is the only game that freezes - I play KotOR, Fallout Shelter and also for a while also MSF without any issues. Don't know if all of these games used Unity as well and if not it may be a place to start?
