Game stuck on checking for updates.

Ok, I found one thing that does work although not optimal. Once I disconnected the PS3 from the wifi so that it could no longer check for updates, then the game became playable. 

Helpful but not helpful. I just bought this game (new) and spent 2 hours watching it do 9 updates. Then I get the black screen of "checking for updates." So I followed your advice, and I'm back exactly where I was 4 hours ago. Black screen "checking for updates."

Do you have anything else that might help?

Also stuck on Disney/Lucasfilm splash screen, Android

So I've installed it 3x already, and soon as I link my account, it still puts me on the stuck loading screen 

Guys, to solve this, unfortunately, you have to uninstall the game and reinstall it again. It's sad to have to do this because it's really annoying that most problems can only be solved this way.

I have the same problem. Impossible to connect 

Uninstall the game and make a new Installation... fix

For me, I'm stuck on the screen where it says "Disney - lucasfilms". The only time I got past it Is when I don't have WiFi or data on. Even so, same issue as everyone else. 

Mine doesn't even say, that it's checking for updates. It's just stuck on the black Logo screen.

I'm also experiencing this problem, I updated and the screen keeps saying that it's looking for updates
