And you're sure they were debuffed all the times you used Skittering Horror?
@crzydroid As crzydroid said, skittering horror only stacks health if the target was debuffed.
Additionally, the stacking health bonuses grievous gets from skittering horror and metalloid monstrosity last for the encounter, which means they reset after each wave. As soon as you leave wave 4 and start wave 5, grievous resets to baseline, and without droid allies to quickly ramp up, it will be an uphill battle each wave for him.
