google points stopped working - you already got this item

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Summarize your bug Since last update, redeeming new pack no longer work from googe play. A pack never redeemed work once and i correctly get the rewards in game. Howerver after this i can no longer get additional packs from googe play. I get the following error: "You already got the item. You'll need to open Star Warstm: Galaxty of Heroes before you can get it again." I managed to reproduice this issue with all 3 packs available (i tried to see if the issue was a one time thing). My version of the game is using french language, i don't think this is relevant but just in case. I also tried with bluestacks & got the same issue. Clearing cache on both swgoh & play store didnt fix the issue. Restarting device neither. Reinstalling the applicaition neither.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Order a pack once, start the game, get the reward Order the pack once again.

    I just started playing this game a month ago.    It is December 11th and this issue is still broken.   Redeemed my first two packs (rebel and small) yesterday afternoon.  Took 16 hours for it to arrive in game.  Tried to redeem more points this morning and I am getting the same error message.

    Has there been any updates on this issue that's been hovering around now since mid November?

    Any updates?  Still unable to redeem any play points.  It's been about a month.

    I have tried to fix this on three different devices. Starting from a forest install of both GoH and PS on an android without my account. I frequently jump between my iPhone, Note10, and iPad. This issue has been active for me since Nov 17th. I have tried every conceivable option to correct it. It is definitely not a delay. You can get a pack that you have not purchased yet, but once you purchase it, something is not getting reset and you cannot purchase it again.

    Hello Guys !

    After yersterday patch, i looked closely at the patch notes and the dev trello bugtracker to see if we get any update or fix fot this issue ... the issue was still marked as investigating and no information in patch notes.

    However i still tried to buy some new packs and it worked ! 

    It seems the issue is solved (at least on my side). Can you guys check and confirm it is fixed for you too ?

  • That patch several weeks ago fixed the issue and now it's back.
    Today I had a pause between redeeming and it showing up in the game and ONCE AGAIN it's broken for my account.  Maybe the issue is something that can now be easily fixed and made to happen less often?  I'm a whale who redeems a LOT of points because I buy a LOT of stuff from EA so maybe I'm getting "lucky" more?

    It got moved to fixed 12/17/21 but it might need to have a new ticket for a permanent resolve?

    After 24 hours it was cleared.  Not sure what is going on with this particular bug that it got cleared.  I guess 24 hours is early enough for a resolve that then sometimes allows more purchases with Google Play however something IS happening between the game and Google Play that is disrupting syncing that rewards were received.
