Home button crashes the game

Some players reported that changing your device language to English, playing the game for several minutes and then changing the language back resolved the issue.

This should no longer be an issue for anyone.

I also have this problem after updating the app in the appstore. When going back to cantina (home) the game crashes

I have an ad blocker installed on my iOS device(blokada) and it was causing the game to crash every time i hit home. Disabled it cause i noticed on my phone that a kenobi pop up was happening when i hit the home button right when it would crash on ipad with blokada. Disabled it and everything is fine now.

I found a workaround for this issue. You have to switch ingame language from local to English. Apparently it’s new ads causing crashes on your Home Screen which promotes gl kenobi

And how to do this? I have no Option to change the Language

I don’t know where I change it Ingame but I changed the language from my whole phone to Englisch and it worked. It seems that the new Kenobi Ad causes some crashes in other languages.

I can confirm, after changing the language to English, an advertisement is shown to me which crashes the game in German language.

I also can confirm that changing the language solve the problem, after clicking on the kenobi popup, you can switch back to your language

Indeed everytime you hit home button or go back to Home Screen with the go back button the game crashes and close 100% of the time. Plz fix this quick is very annoying. Not sure if it is only for iOS systems or happens also to androids but still pretty annoying to play like this.
