First-time user here, went with the PC Client on Windows 11. Everything was fine on Day 1 but after I rebooted, SWGoH would crash 💥 with the below error written to the Windows App log.

The program SWGoH.exe version 2022.3.25.2784 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. 

Problem

Can't launch SWGoH anymore because it would immediately freeze up. Tried the following fixes listed below but none of it helped.

• Uninstalling/Reinstalling SWGoH
• Repairing SWGoH
• Windows Disk Cleanup 🧹
• Uninstalling/Reinstalling the Microsoft Visual C++ distributable

Solution

Delete all of the temporary directories in your profile shown below. To EA's credit, everything is clearly labeled so I was able to recover the situation.

C:\Users\YOURPROFILE\AppData\Local\Temp\Electronic Arts\Heroes

C:\Users\YOURPROFILE\AppData\Local\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop

C:\Users\YOURPROFILE\AppData\Roaming\Electronic Arts

Voila! Game loads again 👍🏻
