EA_GunnerMany thanks for linking the guide, I have read it before posting. :)
The issue is I no longer have access to the old Android device and am currently playing on iOS.
Hence the "linking account on the old device" step is the problem.
When I tried to import from my EA Connect at the beginning, I kept receiving errors 9.0 (although I have a stable internet connection and the apps works as intended).

You didn't link the account to an EA account. This is the reason for the error.
You'll need to contact EA Help for assistance.
