iPhone overheating and battery drain since update
Since the update today. My iPhone is overheating and has battery drain. 10 mins in game, phone is hot. iOS 18.2. iPhone 15 plus.

Same for me. When I start the App I always see the download info with 985 from 985 before the game starts. I‘m in my home network and it seem‘s that the app wants to Download something in the background. When Network access is stopped you‘ll get the message that no access to private network is available. Answer the question for using online access with no doesn’t help. Stopping background actualisation in the iPhona App settings doesn‘t help. Re-install doesn‘t help.
On a PC, when App is minimized and do nothing, it consumes 25-30% of the CPU (core i7).
For me it seems a general, maybe looping, problem in the game.
