Latest update 01-03-23 - Terrible performance

With this latest update I've suddenly had terrible performance issues. The menu and UI is extremely laggy, my device is showing I'm seeing 6-9fps in some instances. 

I've reinstalled the game to see if that would have an effect, which it has not.

I'm on Android 12 with a OnePlus 7t Pro. 

Before this update the game was perfectly fine. 

What gives?

    Same issue still going for me. I play the game on two devices. One works fine, the other has the same issues as the above players.

    Tried everything - reinstalling, clearing cache, etc., nothing helps. Annoying!
