Level 9 lightside battles wont unlock

I'm a level 85, easy and hard modes of light side battles level 8 complete but level 9 will not unlock. Dark side unlocked no problem. Been like this for months how do i fix

I am having this same issue with both light and dark side battles. Lvl 85 and all stage 8 battles cleared.

I have restarted both the phone and App multiple times.

iOS 10.3.2 and latest GoH App.

@kjlester568 I wonder does anything change if you try clearing the level 8 final battle again. If you try doing the level 8 hard mode does that change anything?

I tried fighting the last stage 8 light side hard battle again with no change.

    It appears part of the issue for me was that it was referencing the Normal battle completion in the Hard battle dialog window. And it was off by one stage I think? Once I completed the Normal Dark Side level 7 it unlocked the Hard Dark Side level 7. But the Hard Dark Side dialog window referenced needing to complete level 6 without clarifying which level 6, Normal or Hard. I'm still confused and not certain why this worked.
