Missing EA Connect button for web store access

What type of issue do you have? Other
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Summarize your bug The EA Connect button won’t show up (under Connect in Settings). We’re past worldwide launch, and my account is in the USA, so I should see it. I cannot connect to the new web store as a result. Have tried restarts, deleting and redownloading the app, making sure the app is the latest version, etc. I sync the game across devices using Game Center. It is not a minor’s account, as I get the Facebook connect option and Guild chat, etc.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Use my account, I suppose.

You must be 18 years old in order to see/access EA Connect button, regardless of geo-location. In your case, your account is younger. DOB updates can be requested through EA Help support.

@EA_Gunner I have exactly the same issue on iPad & iPhone also using Game Centre. I am in the UK. Is there a solution?

@Robocop0065 Hello, today there was a game update. This may have fixed the issue you was facing. It seems the update was to test a fix on the app freezing. It may have also fixed the missing EA connect button

Hi @W11L99 a few people are having this issue.

Today there was an update released. Please update to the newest version of the game and check if the button is there.
Whilst the new update doesn't address the issue, it may still have included a fix.

Sorry to see that, my best guess would be that the update was only to try implement a fix to the app freezes.

From what I've seen, accounts that aren't underage have started to be flagged as underage which is causing this. No clue how it happened but I've seen reports that EA support have told several people that their account is underage even though they're not underage and their account has never been underage (they've always had chat)

I have the same issue on my Iphone no matter what i try i still cant get it to show up can u please help me with my problem
