no function in GA join period to back out / rejoin to update mods/gear

What type of issue do you have? Gameplay
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Summarize your bug With the change in patch notes to how rosters are locked when you join TW/GA... GA needs the same function as TW has, which is to back out and rejoin to update the roster.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? TW has option to leave during 24 hour sign up period, TW allows rejoin during sign up period to update roster before roster lock. GA is lacking this feature. GA didn't need this feature when it first launched, because roster lock was changed. now that roster lock is reverted to how it used to be with TW, now GA needs this feature.

this is an oversight. please add this before next week's GA sign up. i do not want to have to set my own alarm outside of game to remind myself to Join GA at last possible moment, in order to make sure my roster is as up to date as possible for the week of GA.

Since setting it up this way was intentional, the devs are aware of how it works. That's why it is "by design" and not a bug.

If players don't like the current design, the feedback section of the main forums is the appropriate place to give feedback, as ChristophIV said.

been there. done that. post got completely ignored.
and this can't at all be working as intended.
as i said, the way rosters locked has JUST been changed (reverted) ...due to the issues/bugs caused by the previous way they were locking at the moment signup period ended (processing all of that in a split second was not possible without massive lag and causing bugs to slip through).
its entirely unfair to claim this current state of GA sign up is working as intended.

@shhfiftyfive That's why I chose my words carefully. I said "as designed", not intended. The current GAC interface doesn't allow for exiting and rejoining, which is why players need to provide the feedback to the appropriate channels.

"For TW, if you exit, you are removed from matchmaking consideration. When you rejoin, your roster is snapped again at that moment. Apologies for the omission."
Should have been something like "For GA this doesn't apply. Once you join, you are locked without option to leave."
This is flaw by design.

indeed it was a poor announcement, as it didn't address the elephant in the post.
as far as using swgoh forums to post feedback.. that forum doesn't get any official staff responding to stuff in that feedback section. like ever.
heck, they don't even respond when the community is talking about game issues on streams, youtube videos, reddit, nothing. (unless it hurts profits, then CG fixes it immediately, if profits are not involved CG ignores all feedback)
only here in the bug report section does EA actually respond quickly (not CG)
and for all intents and purposes, this is an oversight. an oversight is a bug. prove me wrong.
sadly, with so many issues being added to the game recently, i'm not sure CG has any staff capable of actually adding/fixing this. as if they're understaffed or idk. the bug list just increases. and the players are bearing the burdens for CG failings to prevent thse from surfacing in the live game.

The communication implied, in it's specific example of resetting your roster lock in TW by leaving, that this would be possible for GAC as well. It was NOT communicated that players could not leave and rejoin GAC after this change was made.
Also if the devs really read the feedback section, the game would have a lot less bugs and be more enjoyable, but we know they don't.

not to stray off topic, but "working as designed" has cases where its just not true, and yet should we post here, for example:
remember before DSGeoTB released, the announcements from CG Devs mentioned it would be a 4 phase 4 day event.
but because they forgot to hire someone to make that work correctly, they just pushed it live w/o the intended design. (so a bug).
we ended up with (4) 36 hour phases over 7 days. that was not working as designed. and they never fixed that either.
so with that example above, let's use that example to get back on topic (exact same issue):
this GA signup was never intended to lock rosters on sign up. never intended means its a bug. period.

to further show this is a bug, the game currently shows incorrectly to players that roster lock will happen at end of sign up period. this is untrue.
