SWGoH PC Beta won't give you purchased packs!

Recently, I have purchased the 2 Kyro packs on the PC client Beta and didn't receive them.

As any normal person would do I reach out to SWGoH help through the PC help from in game.

After explaining my situation and sending the same proof of purchase picture about 9 times, I received nothing but the same scripted reply and link. Not offering any help whatsoever.

"Click the settings cog and 'restore purchases' button" or "you just need to claim your purchase"

Great if I was using the mobile app, but the PC Beta doesn't have this option.

I followed all their steps;

Reloaded the game, reloaded the client, cleared browser cache, checked web store, I even installed a new browser to try and check the web store and got nothing, logged into the mobile app, did the restore purchases about 5 times, closed app did it again.

After all of this the only reply I got from EA Help on PC was "we're having technical problems, please ask again later"

After those 13 hours of torture, I decided to ask for help on the mobile app hoping to get someone who could actually help.

After painfully providing the same details over and over again and having to go through everything again with at least 4 different people.

All I got was the same reply of "you need to claim your purchases" 

I provided picture proof of doing what they asked and having them check my account to see that my packs are still waiting to be claimed.

After this I was put into the "too hard basket" and told to post my issue here. In what I'm guessing is an attempt to make it seem like they are doing something when they just don't want to bother with my issue.

So I turn to you guys for help, since EA and CG don't care enough to help, I'm at your mercy.

  • I can't help, but I add my name to that list. I got some generic response about how they can't help because of some other technical issues. I don't know what to think, but I'll give them time to respond.

    Well it's been over 8 hours, and apparently they claim to still be unable to help, although I find no update here about issues that they are facing. Probably best to not attempt any purchases until this issue has been addressed.

  • I'm on 48 hours, verified my purchase so many  times that my PC has added the folder to my shortcuts bar and have created a notpad document with my problem because I'm sick of being asked the same questions.
    I even had one of the EA "Help" team members start telling me why I might not have recieved my "Guild Rewards" if I left my Guild early.  Kinda just proving that they  don't even read the ticket and just copy paste answers from a sheet.

    Lol, yeah they threw a lot of the same generic responses at me that didn't really pertain to my situation.

    All I have is 2 instances in the past 24 hours of them claiming that they can't help, because reasons.

    If they can't even fix a simple purchase error, isn't it at the least minimally responsible for them to address the issue publicly?

    I don't see anything about it, and they seem way too cavalier about having taken their customers money, with no promise to fix the issue.

    Their response is borderline apathetic.

  • Hello friend, I recently encountered the same issue and also had the same frustrating road that lead me here.

    I make videos about this game and I was wondering if I could use your stories. They do not fulfill crystal purchases, and Lightspeed Bundle purchases were broken as well. Just want to make sure you consent before I share.

    I have gotten no word, and I believe you've already tried this, but there is a help button on the mobile version of the game that takes you to a different page than the PC version. It's another AI chat but you can respond directly in-game without all the hassle of the PC experience. Again I haven't gotten a response there but hey it's at least worth a try
