Unable to link PC account to mobile

O recently started playing SWGOH on pc via my EA app/account, I want to play also on Mobile when I load up the game and select ‘already have an account’ and select the EA connect option I use the sam...

The email you are trying to use may not be linked to the account you are trying to recover. Or there is a conflict between Google Play/Apple Center. Try to sign out of Google Play/Apple Center before you launch the game.

Thank you for responding, I can confirm Apple sign in and IOS game centre have been disabled but I get the same error every time.

When I go to my game on the PC I sign into my EA account so I assume that means that the game account is linked to my EA account. If there is a step I am missing please let me know.
