Original Sims crashing

anyone having trouble with their original sims game? Mine opens and minimizes its self over adn over and over to where its unplayable. I have repaired it, uninstalled and reinstalled. Nothing is work...

BTW still haven't been able to play the game and it's been 2mths since purchasing...seems to be another EA money grab.
