Pathfinding issues: Can't even use a bed or sofa

Most of the furniture can't be used in tight spaces like the small starter houses that you can start with using a new family. I find that I can't use a bed in a room or a couch indoors.

When is the next patch coming?

I'm afraid that is the bug. If I dug out my disks and used an external disk drive, I could get it run flawlessly (Yes, I still have the original CDs from back in the day)

Lots of work is still needed.

The movement and collision in Sims 1 is very different from the sequels and can't be changed without major rewrites in the code.

Sims can't squeeze between objects and chairs can't be tucked under tables. A simple newspaper on the floor can block their path to a . It's just how it is.

I suggest you check all the premade houses and other lots in the game that have perfectly functional layouts and learn how to design around the engine limitations.

However, if you think you're experiencing a bug, please share some screenshots of the problem areas.
