Sims 1 Legacy still fails to work on AMD graphics cards after recent patch.

So the new patch didn't address one of the biggest issues which is that people using AMD graphics cards can't run the game without massive lag (5-15fps) when on a community lot, this is a major issue since this makes the game unplayable even with surpassing the basic requirements.

  • Please address this! I have a RX 7700 XT and the game lags so bad when there are more than 1 Sim in my view!

From what I've gathered on steam and the forums, it's any AMD card anything that uses a driver from AMD, and everyone has also made it very clear it happens when there are more than 1 sim at a lot, or most noticeably the issue happens on a community lot, I've seen a lot of people saying the exact same thing in the forums, it's not hard to replicate at all if you use graphics from AMD and enter a community lot.

Thankfully as your post has said the CM has passed along that the team are aware of this issue and I doubt it'd be that hard to replicate giving the information everyone has passed along, it's not a very hard thing to replicate at all-

Oh good, thanks! Sorry, I find these forms extremely hard to navigate. One of the most disorganized forum formats I've ever seen.

Yes, it's very easy to replicate. Simply invite another Sim over to your lot, or go to a community lot, and the lag becomes so bad. As soon as you travel home, or the visitor goes home, it's fine. In fact when it's lagging, if you scroll to a portion of the map so that the visitors are not in the frame, it also runs fine. As soon as you scroll back, it returns.

  • It was fixed with the recent patch and the game runs AMAZINGLY now!  So fast!
