TS1LC Bug: Can't run in background during windowed mode

Usually in windowed mode, you can ALT-Tab to bring up another window. However, the Sims 1, even with the "-w" command line option, will minimize and the audio will shut off when you try to switch applications or open up another window. This happens even if you turn on the in-game option to "Sim in Background"

And yes, you also can't run in background during full screen mode.

    Hi all,

    This was resolved in today's patch:

    • The Sims would minimize if it was not the foreground application

    Yeah, it would be nice if it was fixed so that the audio and gameplay keeps running if you have “Sim in Background” enabled.
