Sims 1 save won’t reset

Your save data is stored in /Saved Games/Electronic Arts/The Sims 25/ and then the UserData folders are there. :)

That’s the thing I went in there deleted it and the neighborhood is still the same.

justinafterhours  Did you remove the entire "The Sims 25" folder?  Doing so would erase all your save data, but you could later restore the UserData* (the first one, or 2-8) folders from the neighborhoods where you've made progress and didn't delete anything you'd want to keep.

I'm having the same issue, even after reinstalling the game it doesn't reset the world.

Not OP, but thanks so much this helped me! I was previously looking at the UserData1-8 folders in the install path ><

I don't have the "Sims 25 Folder" 

I've deleted both UserData and Userdata2 again with no luck of resetting the neighbourhood. 

Any advice? 😊

Mine is exactly like you and I'm so confused when seeing everyone saying to delete the Sims 25 folder as well.  I've dug everywhere and I can't find it.  I've reinstalled twice as well

ItsAdam92  You're looking in the wrong location.  This folder isn't part of the game's program files, it's where the game stores save data.  But if you haven't been able to load the game, the folder probably won't exist yet (depending on how far you get).

AstroLizard907  Please look in the listed location, because it has to exist if you've successfully loaded the game once.

For both of you, try searching in Windows, or if you get nothing, download Everything, from VoidTools, which is a better search tool, and enter Sims 25 in the search field.

Paste this on the File explorer window path

%USERPROFILE%\Saved Games\Electronic Arts\

It'll lead you directly where the save data is located. Delete that The Sims 25 folder and reinstall the game.
