I installed my copy of The Sims Legacy this morning and cannot load the game due to issues with not being able to find a suitable Vulkan device. I have found several posts about this and was told is was resolved with patches. So I'm not sure why I still have issues as surely when I installed the game today, it would have been with the most recent update?

It's frustrating that my computer runs The Sims 1, 2, 3 and 4, Sims 2 Legacy, and doesn't run The Sims 1 Legacy. They need to change that.
