Pets are bugged sims 2
So I installed sims 2 legacy and now I found a bug, my cat is like not having it’s legs lol.
it was coming from the outside, and when I watched how it was entry at my house, its legs are gone.

Pets have always occasionally bugged out, even way back when I played on disks. They are more prone to having the jump bug than Sims and are more likely to walk inside of furniture or walls. Sometimes they sink into the ground and sort of glide around. One time my Sim went to the grocery store and several strays were floating in the air, stretching their limbs to touch things like they were Sims. Creepy. Weird bugs that they never fixed.
From what I've read, there doesn't seem to be one fix. Some people stopped it by removing mods related to beds or sleeping. Some people were able to use moveObjects to pick up the pet and move them to another spot where they then moved normally. Some people just ignored it and it resolved itself. Others never did and their pet was taken away when their needs were too low. Some people were able to use testingCheats and reset the pets. Some people's pets went back to normal after they used MaxMotives.
I don't remember what I did about the sinking pet issue, it's been a long time since I've had that one. I think I might have just moved the lot and it was fine when I went back in? For the floating one, it creeped me out so much that I simply deleted the lot and put in a new one.
