RESOLVED - Sims 2 Legacy - Vacation bug

I also have another problem, everytime I visit a community lot with a car when they come back the sims freezes at the start of the road sitting in the air, wich is fun to see but the game deleted my teenage son and I can't find him anywhere 

After the new patch you can go to resorts, but as soon as I visit a community lot and come back the problem still persists does anyone know when they will patch again?

The only problem is that I have to delete my family after hours of gameplay it's kinda upsetting

I deleted the vacation destination, and got my sims home no problem. But if you do this they still age for the time that they were sent on vacation. Luckily had been using the elixir reliably.

I only just bought the game and installed it less than a week ago, so it sounds like I should have had a patched version to begin with. Still got the glitch.

I was able to bring my Sims back without any issues using InSimenator. I looked for the Sim Summoner in a household of a family member, but it doesn’t have to be a family member’s house—it can be any house in the city you’re in. Then, just search for the name of your family that is on vacation and summon them to the lot where you placed the Summoner. Done! They will return home. You need to summon each Sim individually to bring them all back.

What about children\teenager who disappear after going out shopping? When I come home, it's as if they never existed.

I just wish they wouldn't mark this as resolved because it's not resolved.. Really hope they fix this.

WARNING TO ANYONE FOLLOWING EA_CADE'S INSTRUCTIONS TO DELETE THE NEIGHBORHOODS FILE FROM YOUR FILE EXPLORER-   this will delete all your SIMs too.

I wish I knew this before I updated the game... 63 HOURS lost.  The SIM families are gone.  I hope we aren't required to do this every time there is a patch to fix what should have been working to start with.  No point in playing if so.  I was so excited that this game was being relaunched and had thought all of these well-known (and fixed by mods in the past) glitches would have been gone.  Very disappointed.  

I had the same problem yesterday. Today, i wanted to fix it but now my family is gone. It‘s like the never existed. I‘m so sad… i played lile 30 hours with them 😢 never go to vacation again

I don't know if I incorrectly installed it or if it just doesn't work because I'm still having issues.

If I do this will I lose the neighborhood and sims I created? As much as I want them to go on vacations I'd rather keep the sims that I've worked so hard on.
