Sime 2 returns

hi, I have had the sims 2 on my ea game for over 8 years. As each game has just re-released them, I was wondering if there was any more value in repurchasing them? Is there a new game play, new accessories or new manipulations in construction mode?

there is nothing new in the game. they have only updated the game to run on modern hardware, nothing has changed
