Sims 2 Application Terminated when Loading Household

Question

The game worked completely fine until a recent update that caused Direct3D errors. After the patch today that fixed that specific error, I am now crashing with the error message "The application has crashed. The application will now terminate." whenever I try to load any household. I tried repairing and that didn't fix it. I don't think it is my computer's issue, since the game worked perfectly at release. It also isn't a custom content issue.

Is this happening in a neighborhood that was created after today's patch?You'll need to move or delete the Neighborhoods file in Documents -&gt; EA Games -&gt; The Sims 2 and a new Neighborhoods file will generate when you launch the game again.If so, could you provide an&nbsp;EA Error Report ID&nbsp;and&nbsp;DxDiag for tracking purposes?

Hi!This happened both with a neighborhood I created when the game re-released and with a new one I created today after the patch. Deleting the Neighborhoods file didn't solve it.Here is my report ID: 5cd319cd-fcc2-4096-987a-b935ddfd75e7And here is my DxDiag file.Thank you!
