Sims 2 is NOT opening

I launch the Sims 2 legacy pack and this appears… “Some needed files were corrupted during the instillation. Please reinstall this application”. May someone please help me fix this situation&nbsp;

See if making exceptions for the game's file to your antivirus, and making sure you aren't synced to one drive then do a repair and test again.
