Sims 2 Legacy - Alien Abductions Borked

When a sim is being abducted and triggers the cutscene, the sim resets a few seconds into the cutscene and the cutscene loses all audio while it continues to play out. The end result being the sim does not get abducted.

    Hi all,

    This issue was resolved in today's patch:

    • During the Alien Abduction cutscene, sometimes audio could drop out and a Sim could reset

     

    If you're still experiencing this, please create a new thread so we can continue to investigate.

    kestrellyn has an Abduction Reaction Fix mod on MTS that fixed the broken abductions for me! I use the no queue stomp version. Finally, Vidcund was able to get abducted (& pregnant). I play with cutscenes off so I have no clue if this fixes the cutscene issue, but it's worth a shot.
