Sims 2 Legacy - Cursor moving when selecting 'more...'

Okay this one has turned into a major annoyance.

When you select an object/sim/etc. that has a ton of available interactions, the Pie Menu will display a 'More...' option. I've noticed in Legacy when clicking that option that my mouse cursor will, without fail, always be moved to the top-left approximately 200pixels away. The expected behavior is that when clicking 'More...' the cursor will be in the exact same spot that the user had it in before clicking the option (ie, the program would not manipulate the cursor's position in any way). 

This behavior wasn't present in Ultimate Collection or in the original release and it is extremely irritating. I don't know if it matters but just in case, my screen resolution is 3440x1440.

    Having this exact same issue & am similarly frustrated. Did you find a fix?

    The higher the resolution, the more the cursor will move to the upper left corner of the screen. This is most likely a bug that occurred with the new scaling added by EA. The only temporary solution I know of is to play in 1920 x 1080 screen resolution, where this problem does not occur, but unfortunately the game looks worse on larger screens and resolutions because of it.

    This is an annoying issue, but I won't turn my resolution down. Lol. I just make sure I move the curser over until the green circle appears. I do wish they would fix it though.
