Sims 2 Legacy Addition Crashing

Hello!

 

My game keeps crashing as soon as my pet gets home from work any idea of work arounds

    My Sims 2 Legacy continues to crash after building a sim. It's really devastating as they should've had this all prepared prior to releasing :(
