Sims 2 Legacy Crashing at Start Screen Download Failed Content File Locked

Hello, I was playing the game fine the past couple days then when I tried to get on just now, it wouldn't get past the start up screen. It would just pop up with the empty error box, and then crash....

I'm having the exact same issue but I got the game through the EA app. I really hope there's a fix sometime soon.
