Sims 2 uninstallation of all packs-Legacy

Hi, 

I went to uninstall SIms 2 Legacy colleciton to make room for another game, it came up with a message saying all the expansion packs etc will uninstall also if I uninstall the game itself. Will I still have access to all of these if I do uninstall?
