When will I ever get to play this 😩. Purchased on the day of release and it’s yet to even load in a family to play . Sims 1 plays fine, crashes every so often but it’s playable .. sims 2 iv yet to get a load up not even once yet . I’m so disappointed I even took time of work in excitement to live the nostalgia of playing this .. please please fix this …

I hope it works out. The only way is to go to any empty house and start buliding inside the house. You can open the options menu and disable the shadows. This ways the entire game will be working.

Did you tried the link provided above? It solved my problem. I unistalled and reinstalled the game and I can play without problems. I have the shadows on now.
