The Sims 2 Legacy Collection UI flickering

I play The Sims 2 Legacy Collection via Parallels Desktop on an M4 Pro MacBook Pro, the UI randomly starts flickering rapidly every now and then. This does not happen on my x86 based Windows desktop with the exact same TS2 set up.

I am fully aware that The Sims 2 Legacy Collection is not natively supported on ARM or Mac currently, but it would be nice for a solution to the problem.

I have attached a DxDiag file below for extra information regarding my PC.

I haven't experienced any other issues with the game.
