TS2 Graphics card identification problems

Since the release of The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection we have had problems identifying the cards, the game always keeps using the HD Graphics and ignores my dedicated card, I did all the obvious/basic steps for recognition and it shows a problem with the game and its old card prioritization, something that still continues in The Sims 2 Legacy.
