Failed to Launch Game Sims 3
I am beyond frustrated because for the last 4 months the Sims 3 won't open on my computer and the message "Failed to launch game, an error on our end caused the launch to fail. Try again a little later." pops up. Then my mac sends me "the sims 3 launcher quit unexpectedly" notification, with the reasoning being code 11. I typically play the sims 3 off of my external hard drive and haven't had a problem with it but then after deleting the sims and redownloading it because it was laggy, this problem started happening.
I contacted EA about this and they gave me a list of things to do to fix it. None of it worked. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game, the ea app, etc multiple times, I've cleared caches, tried starting it by bypassing the launcher, etc and nothing works. So then I tried to redownload the sims 4 and everytime it finishes downloading, it takes hours upon hours for the EA app to verify it. To the point, where I can't download it because it simply never verifies it no matter how long I wait. I really just want to play the games I PAID FOR!!!! When I contacted EA they said they'd have someone reach out to me but no one ever did. To top it all off, I can't login to my account in order to start a case because the verification email will not show up in my inbox. I am going crazy with how frustrated I am. Please HELP!!!!!
